Hello it’s probably a good idea to introduce myself:

Hello my name is Andrew and I am an experienced theatre reviewer having seen over 200 shows, ranging from Youth Theatre to West End Productions. I have taken part in Youth Theatre and amateur dramatics in the past. I am a theatre lover. If you are considering me to come review your show just drop me a message via my contact form. I fund this website myself and do not earn any money from this. I therefore am restricted where I can travel, usually I am based in Birmingham but sometimes might venture to other places. I’m always on the lookout for exciting new productions to experience and share with my readers. My passion for theatre drives me to provide honest, insightful reviews that capture the essence of each performance. Whether it’s a small, intimate production or a grand spectacle,

I approach each show with the same level of enthusiasm and attention to detail. My background in Youth Theatre and amateur dramatics gives me a unique perspective, allowing me to appreciate the hard work and dedication that goes into every aspect of a production. I’m particularly keen on supporting up-and-coming talent and local theatre scenes. While I’m primarily based in Birmingham, I occasionally make trips to London for particularly compelling shows. I’m always open to discovering hidden gems in the Midlands area and beyond. If you’ve got a production you think I’d love, don’t hesitate to reach out! Remember, my reviews are a labour of love. I’m not in this for financial gain, but rather to share my adoration for the theatre with like-minded individuals and to support the arts community.

So, if you’re looking for a dedicated, passionate reviewer to give your show the attention it deserves, I’d be thrilled to hear from you! I won’t give glowing reviews unless the show deserves it, I believe in honesty and transparency and that’s why you as a reader can trust me. My reviews aim to provide a balanced perspective, highlighting both the strengths and areas for improvement in each production. I believe this approach not only benefits my readers but also contributes to the growth and development of the theatre community. I’m always eager to engage with my audience

While my primary focus is on live theatre, I occasionally branch out to cover other performing arts events such as dance performances, comedy, and even innovative circus acts. This diversity allows me to bring a wide range of cultural experiences to my readers and keeps my content fresh and exciting. I’m always looking to expand my network within the theatre community, so if you’re a director, actor, or involved in any aspect of theatre production, I’d love to connect. Your insights could provide valuable context for my reviews and help me offer a more comprehensive analysis of the shows I attend.

Please remember above all else, its just me and I cannot be in several places at once ( I am shocked by some hotel prices out there!)
