About The Guy Behind This Blog No Paid Advertisements. No Annoying Pop Up’s. No Affiliations. Hello it’s probably a good idea to introduce myself: I am Andrew and I don’t take things all too seriously, you’ll see some humour on here. I used to perform in Youth Theatre at my local college then did some amateur dramatics. I have always been a lover of the Theatre, my particular preference is Musicals. However I have opened up to Plays- especially if a good play. I cannot sing ( in tune) but if I could, I probably would have trained to be an actor. I give honest opinions when it comes to Reviews, which probably makes theatres dislike me at times but I do try to see the good in everything. I think of critics like this: Arghhh the critics at a press night! They do not look like a happy bunch. If I was a performer on stage, I’d actually be terrified. In my reviews I always try to give shout outs to performers or things which have gone well. I sometimes will put a recommendation in as well. I am a huge advocate of up and coming stars in performances, youth theatre provided me with the confidence I needed. So If I see a young star worth shouting out about, I will. Stage Manager Of The Future? As this is a digital platform, it kind of makes sense to transform myself into a digital illustration ( AI) You’ll see from my reviews, its just me who runs this website. That means I cannot be in a 100 places at once ( no tardis invented yet). I do not have a team of reviewers either, just lowly me. I pay transport for myself to venues so the likes of London is usually out of grasp. I live in the Midlands and a lot of my reviews will be based on shows in the Midlands area but I can travel further afield at times. I designed and run this website myself, there will be some typing errors and probably broken links- so Google probably hates me too ( Cue sad face). I do not run this as a business, its simply a passion. It doesn’t mean I will try any less though than the other bigger sites. I do not sell tickets either, I believe the choice should be yours but my guide on tickets should help you.
