Les Miserables I believe was your West End Debut, how was it your
first time on stage?
It was indeed! I have been on stage since an early age, but being on a West
End stage for the first time was truly spectacular, the buzz from the audience
was uplifting and I will never forget that ultimate thrill when I stepped on
stage.
How did you find the audition process?
The audition process was challenging but I loved it! There were several
rounds and I was lucky enough to perform in front of Cameron Mackintosh in the
finals, so it was all very exciting and an experience I will never forget. The
casting team were so lovely and supportive throughout.
Are you originally from London? Was it hard readjusting to life in
London?
I am not no, I am from Macclesfield up North and moved to London to train on
the Musical Theatre course at the Arts Educational Schools. Being quite
independent, I found adjusting to London life very easy and I just love the
hustle and bustle of the city.
Do you have any certain routines or superstitions beliefs prior to
going on stage?
I always have to do some form of exercise during the day before the show,
whether it be a dance class or a gym class. I feel then that my body will be
warm and energised and I feel vocally warmer during our company warm up. I also
always have a Jakemans sweet before the show and I love to be ready super early
before the show.
There are many favourite quotes in the world, what quote do you want
to be remembered for?
“ Live Your Dreams and take risks. Make it happen and shock everyone”
What makes you happy in three words?
Performing on stage ( sorry to be cringey!)
