Thank you for thinking of Theatre Village. I genuinely appreciate artists, producers and PRs reaching out, especially during busy seasons like the Edinburgh Fringe.
Theatre Village is an editorial platform. That means I don’t currently publish standard listings or simple event notices. Instead, when I cover a show, I usually create a fuller blog feature based on the information provided. The aim is to give productions context, personality and a proper introduction to readers, rather than just dates and times.
If you would like your show to be considered for coverage, here is what helps:
A proper press release or expanded show information
Please include more than just a short blurb. Background on the show, its themes, the creative team, and what makes it distinctive all help shape a stronger feature.
High-quality production images or artwork
Clear, professional images make a big difference. Please include photographer credits and confirm that images are cleared for press use.

Why this show matters
A short note explaining what makes the piece timely, bold, unusual or urgent is always helpful. Theatre Village is particularly interested in work with strong themes, fresh perspectives or something genuinely distinctive.
Please note
Submitting information does not guarantee coverage. As an editorial platform, I make independent decisions about what to feature based on relevance, timing and capacity. Reviews are always written honestly and independently.
If you do not have a PR company, you are still very welcome to submit your show directly. Clear information and good artwork are often more important than representation.
You can send submissions to:
hello @theatrevillage.co.uk ( without the space)
Thank you again for reaching out and for the work you are creating. Theatre Village exists because of artists, and I value the opportunity to help share strong stories with readers
Right then, the guv’nor has spoken. Our lovely Andrew runs a tight (but friendly) ship here at Theatre Village, and if you send him the good stuff, he’ll work his magic. Give us the details, give us the sparkle, and don’t forget the photos.
I’ll pop it straight into the satchel.
Love,
Grace
