The festive season wouldn’t be complete without a trip to North Norfolk’s Thursford Christmas Spectacular – and this year’s 48th production promises to be the most magical yet.
Fresh from winning Best Christmas Experience at the Group Leisure and Travel Awards for the second year running, Thursford’s world-famous Christmas show is back from 8th November – 23rd December 2025, delivering three hours of pure festive joy on a scale like no other in the UK.
A Show Like No Other
For nearly five decades, Thursford has been delighting audiences with its unique blend of West End–quality entertainment, featuring more than 120 singers, dancers, musicians, and speciality acts performing on a spectacular 130ft stage. From high-energy dance routines to comedy, chart-topping hits, and traditional carols, the show is a fast-moving celebration of the season that never fails to earn its 5-star reviews.
Audiences travel from across the UK – and even overseas – with over 50 coaches a day arriving at the site during the season. Many visitors make it a festive holiday, combining the show with stays in Norfolk’s hotels, cottages, and guesthouses.

A Winter Wonderland in North Norfolk
The Thursford site itself is transformed each November into a Christmas paradise, complete with:
- Over one million twinkling lights
- Animatronic animals and giant lanterns
- A purpose-built 1,400-seat theatre
- A 32-piece live orchestra in full view of the audience
The festive fun doesn’t end with the show. Visitors can browse shops, enjoy festive food, and take part in the Enchanted Journey of Light – an immersive walkthrough attraction available at a discounted rate for show ticket holders.
