What’s That Rustling in Grace’s Satchel? A Spooky West End Treat!
Oi, stop rattling your letterbox — I’ve got a proper fang-tastic delivery for you. London’s longest-running West End concert series is back, and this time it’s dressed head-to-toe in cobwebs and glitter. That’s right, West End Musical Halloween is swooping into the Lyric Theatre just before All Hallows’ Eve, and it’s gonna be spooktacular (yes, I went there).
Keeping the night in check (and probably summoning a few spirits along the way) will be the ever-fabulous Shanay Holmes (Oliver!, Miss Saigon, The Bodyguard). And talk about a line-up that could raise the dead:
- Jeevan Braich revving up from Starlight Express
- Oliver Saville (Into The Woods, Wicked, The Rocky Horror Picture Show)
- Maddison Firth bringing edge from Heathers and sparkle from Wicked
- Jacob Fowler (Into The Woods, The Addams Family, Heathers)
This creepy crew will be diving into the darker side of musicals — Sweeney Todd, Heathers, Beetlejuice and all the spine-tingling faves. Basically, if it makes your nan clutch her pearls, it’s on the setlist.
And don’t think you’re sitting quietly in the stalls — oh no, this is a jump-right-in kind of party. Get that cosplay out of the cupboard, slick on some eyeliner, and prepare for a full-on monster mash. If a theatre ghost joins the fun, well… just hope it knows the harmonies.
Brought to life by the award-winning bunch behind West End Musical Celebration, West End Musical Brunch and Musical Con, this is Halloween done theatre-kid style: big, bold, and with just enough glitter to clog a Dyson.
So there you go — a night of musical mayhem that’ll leave you howling louder than the Lyric’s resident poltergeist. Don’t say Grace didn’t warn ya.
