Adrianne Langley as 'Catherine of Aragon' and the Company of 'Six the Musical
By Thekla Lenz, West End Reporter
SIX the Musical has announced a brand-new cast at London’s Vaudeville Theatre, with performances now booking through to January 2027 — a move that not only secures its place in the West End, but reflects something broader about the production’s continued growth.
Adrianne Langley will play Catherine of Aragon, joined by Marisha Morgan as Anne Boleyn, Jessica Aubrey as Jane Seymour, Freya Karlettis as Anna of Cleves, Leesa Tulley as Katherine Howard, and Nia Stephen, making her West End debut, as Catherine Parr.
They are joined by Tegan Bannister as Alternate Aragon/Cleves, Mary Elliott as Alternate Boleyn/Howard, and Ashlyn Weekes as Alternate Seymour/Parr. The company is completed by Super Swings Laura Baxter, Gabs Boumford, and Imogen Rose Hart.
The band features Ladies in Waiting Beth Jerem as Musical Director/Keys, Alice Angliss on drums, Emma Jemima on guitar, Kelly Morris on bass, and Annabelle Lee Revak as Assistant Musical Director.
Written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, with direction by Lucy Moss and Jamie Armitage, SIX continues to build on its international success, having won over 35 awards including two Tony Awards, four WhatsOnStage Awards, and five Olivier Award nominations.
What is notable, however, is not only the show’s longevity in London, but the scale of its continued expansion.
The production is currently running in the West End and on Broadway at the Lena Horne Theatre, while also touring across the UK, Europe, and internationally. Recent seasons in Manila and Singapore have already been completed, with 2026 set to see further growth, including an Australasian tour, a new Spanish-language production in Madrid, and additional tours across the Netherlands, Germany, and Asia.
There have also been moments that underline this international reach more directly. In Autumn 2025, the Vaudeville Theatre welcomed the original Japanese cast for a one-week residency, marking a UK first with performances delivered entirely in Japanese with English captions.
Beyond the stage, the production has extended into other experiences, including the SIX the Musical Afternoon Tea at The Soho Hotel, offering audiences another way to engage with the show.
From a reporting perspective, this creates a clearer picture. SIX is not simply maintaining its position in the West End — it is expanding its presence across multiple territories and formats at the same time.
This combination is, you could say, a strong Zeichen of how the production continues to operate not just as a stage musical, but as a global brand.
Taken together, this begins to answer the question of why SIX continues to hold its position in the West End. The production does not rely on a single moment of success. It refreshes its cast, extends its reach across international markets, and builds its presence beyond the stage through recordings, digital platforms, and collaborations. The result is a show that audiences encounter in multiple ways, not just during a single theatre visit.
With booking now extended into 2027, the West End run remains secure. At the same time, the continued international growth suggests that SIX is not slowing down, but widening its reach.
