Every village has its baker, its pub, its familiar faces and quiet corners. The kind of place where people nod as they pass, where stories are shared over cups of tea, and where there’s always something happening just around the corner. Our village is a little different. We have Grace Hatchell, our village postie. This is Theatre Village — where the stories come from the stage. Reviews, gossip, and the odd note slipped into Grace’s satchel… all waiting to be discovered. It may be a fictional village, but the world we talk about is entirely real. The noticeboard is pinned with opening nights, casting news, and whispers of what’s coming next. This is where we share what’s on, what’s worth your time, and what people are talking about — from big press nights to the smallest fringe stages. So whether you’re a lifelong theatre-goer or just finding your seat for the first time… you’re in the right place.

Lost And Found In Theatre Village

Lost Ticket Office

Tucked in the heart of Theatre Village sits the Lost Ticket Office — a slightly wonky wooden cabin with a bell that rings whether you touch it or not. Let’s be honest, finding it can feel near impossible… left, right, round three times, quick go on the trapeze, bit of abseiling — you’ll get there eventually.
Inside is a jumble of tickets, scribbled notes, and last-minute hopes. Running the place is Alfie Stubbs, who insists nothing is ever truly lost — just “waiting to be found with a bit of patience and a proper brew.”
But this isn’t just for missing tickets.
It’s for anyone who’s ever wondered where to buy tickets, how rush tickets work, what to do when shows sell out, or how to grab a good seat without spending a fortune.
Behind the counter, you’ll find simple guides to help you navigate ticket buying — where to look, what to trust, and how to make it all a bit easier.
Feeling lost? You’re in the right place. Grace is actually a regular visitor to the LTO, bringing hundreds of packages of lost tickets to this little cabin.
