Sheffield Theatres and Evolution Productions are absolutely thrilled to announce the full cast for their spectacular pantomime, Snow White, which will be taking place at the Lyceum Theatre this Christmas!
This enchanting production promises to be an unforgettable experience filled with joy and laughter. Joining the previously announced stars—Catherine Tyldesley, renowned for her role in Coronation Street; Quang Luong, who captivated audiences as Gladiator’s Viper; and the beloved Damian Williams, a true Lyceum Legend—is none other than Sheffield’s very own Matthew Croke!
Matthew has consistently dazzled audiences with his incredible talent in various productions, including his standout performance in the Crucible Christmas show Annie Get Your Gun. More recently, he wowed theatre-goers as Aladdin in Disney’s Aladdin the Musical—a role that showcased both his vocal prowess and charismatic stage presence. But wait, there’s even more excitement to share!
We’re also delighted to welcome Marc Pickering back to our stage. He was a crowd favourite last year as ‘Luke Backinanger’ in Jack and the Beanstalk, where he had everyone booing and hissing with delight! Adding to this star-studded line-up is Doncaster’s favourite comic and presenter George Akid, sure to bring plenty of laughs. Also joining us is Aiofe Kenny, fresh from her stunning performance in Disney’s Frozen the Musical on London’s illustrious West End—her remarkable abilities are bound to shine through once again
Let’s not forget about our marvellous Seven Dwarfs: Dean Whatton (who enchanted viewers in Game of Thrones), Simon Charnier (known for Snow White), George Coppen (from The Witcher), Paddy Holden (featured in Your Highness), Liam Roche (who entertained audiences with One Last Gig), Bindē Singh Johal (who brought magic to Harry Potter) and Hassan Taj (from Star Wars). Each actor brings their unique flair that will surely add depth and charm to this beloved tale. Once again, this magical show will be written and directed by Paul Hendy—renowned for his brilliant direction on past favourites such as Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella—and produced by the award-winning team at Evolution Productions who were behind last year’s fabulous rendition of Beauty and the Beast panto.
As always, you can expect nothing short of top-notch family entertainment filled with laugh-out-loud moments that will have everyone rolling in their seats. Get ready for dazzling costumes that sparkle under the lights, lavish sets that transport you into another world, fantastic music that will have you humming along long after you’ve left your seat—all topped off with your favourite jokes woven seamlessly throughout! Snow White runs from Friday 6 December 2024 until Sunday 5 January 2025 at Sheffield’s beautiful Lyceum Theatre. Tickets are on sale now—so don’t delay!
