In 2024, 360 Allstars stormed the stage with a high-octane blast of BMX flips, breakdancing brilliance, and jaw-dropping acrobatics. It was the kind of show that had audiences gasping, cheering, and occasionally muttering “How on earth did they do that?” under their breath.
Billed as an urban circus, this is no top-hat-and-tights affair – it’s a slick, street-inspired spectacle powered by world-class performers who deliver a full-throttle mix of athletic skill and pure swagger. You’ll see BMX riders taking to the air with tricks so tight they make gravity look optional, break dancers whose bodies seem to ignore the normal rules of joints and muscles, and musicians who pump out a live soundtrack to match the show’s relentless pace.
The production values are huge – think pounding beats, dynamic lighting, and a stage that feels like an urban playground. The energy is infectious and the crowd gets swept along for the ride, from the opening moment to the final bow. It’s very much pitched at families too – expect high-fives for kids, plenty of noise, and a carnival-like atmosphere in the venue.
That said, when I reviewed the show, I found the music volume sometimes worked against it – the MC’s words were occasionally drowned out by the percussion-heavy soundtrack. The first half played more like a variety showcase than a cohesive story, with each act shining in their own right rather than tying into an overarching theme.
Still, there’s no denying the raw talent on display and the way this show captures the Fringe spirit – big, bold, and designed to wow. If you’re after a family-friendly crowd-pleaser that’ll leave your kids buzzing for hours afterwards, 360 Allstars is a solid choice.
