Review Of Hebridean Fire by Elsa McTaggart

I was fairly excited to see this show, the description of the show sounded good and I thought whilst I am in Scotland, it would be nice to get a taste of Scotland.

The music was presented by Lisa McTaggart and her husband. The humour, warmth and friendliness shone through, alongside The music itself was outstanding and if you closed your eyes, you could imagine yourself under the skyscape of the Isle Of Lewis.

The show in parts had the audience either clapping or singing along. The show itself was joyous and relaxing.

The show is predominantly catered in its style to a more mature audience. Whilst it wasn’t West End Style, it was more entertainment that is a good place to relax and gather your thoughts. It was entertaining to a certain degree but for me, what I envisaged from its description and what transpired was different. They certainly were a great duo and it was an intimate performance.
