So there is a bit of a backstory to me seeing this show. I had deliberately on the last day of my Fringe experience kept slots free so I can go to shows I had not prebooked.

I gathered all the leaflets I had been given and then dropped a tissue from height, wherever it landed I’d go to those shows.

I did this initially and the tissue landed between three shows, so I repeated the exercise and ended up on this show. I booked my ticket and off I went.

The show provided good jokes and humour which got the audience laughing. Heli presented as a well travelled and brave individual who has experienced many life moments. Heli’s unique perspective shone through as she regaled the audience with hilarious anecdotes from her diverse experiences. Her witty observations on cultural differences and gender dynamics had the crowd in stitches, proving that comedy can engage international audiences with ease.

Her fresh take on feminism, for instance, sparked both laughter and contemplation, demonstrating her skill in tackling complex issues with humour and grace. The intimate venue added to the charm of the performance, creating a cosy atmosphere that allowed Heli’s personality to truly shine.

Heli Parnal’s show is not to be missed, you will find her stories relatable and humourous in good measure

Overall I’d give the show 4 stars.

One staff member told me she had seen Heli’s show and it was very comical, indeed it was!
