Join us for our inaugural Come and Sing event! In this special year marking the 100th anniversary of Gabriel Fauré’s passing, we’re thrilled to invite singers of all abilities and backgrounds to perform his iconic Requiem. You’ll be part of a magnificent chorus, rehearsing in the afternoon before an early evening performance with a full orchestra, under the baton of Birmingham Festival Choral Society Music Director, David Wynne. Whether you’re a seasoned choral singer or trying it for the first time, we can’t wait to welcome you to this exhilarating project!

Presented by The Swing Era, it’s your chance to meet fellow dancers, refine your Lindy skills, and enjoy performances from top-notch musicians right here in Birmingham. Prepare yourself for a night filled with electrifying dancefloor jazz featuring Birmingham’s best DJs and jazz musicians! Nick Schlittner, Mr Wynters, Tom Belte and guests will keep you moving with their dynamic mix of Latin beats, hard-bop rhythms, afro-cuban vibes, nu jazz grooves and more. Arrive early for beginner jazz tap dance classes from 7pm – 8pm – it’s going to be an absolute blast!
