Merging the engaging format of a TED Talk with the emotive power of theatrical performance, *Moments* represents a bold and innovative step for Theatre Re, a company acclaimed for its signature style that fuses striking imagery and dynamic action with original live music. This production invites both the performers and the audience to rediscover the essence of their craft, reflecting on why they do what they do and delving into the significance of that creative impulse. What sets *Moments* apart from other offerings in Theatre Re’s impressive repertoire is its exploration of profound themes such as time, fatherhood, and grief.

Through this thought-provoking piece, the company seeks to demystify not just the theatrical process itself but also the intricate emotional landscapes that accompany life’s transitions. This show marks an important milestone—a moment to pause and reflect after more than 13 years of collaboration on six remarkable productions that have graced stages in 17 countries across three continents. In *Moments*, personal narratives woven by Katherine Graham, Guillaume Pigé, and Alex Judd reveal their journeys into parenthood while navigating midlife challenges.

The trio unpacks their creative bond—examining what it means to succeed in an artistic context—and ultimately crafts a fresh narrative from their shared experiences. At its heart, *Moments* champions attentiveness; it celebrates magic found in the acts of creating new work; it highlights poetry hidden within our everyday lives; and it emphasises our existence moment by moment as we navigate through life’s unpredictability.

Theatre Re is committed to producing live performances that resonate with audiences on local, national, and international levels. Their approach makes theatre not only inventive but also accessible through collaborations spanning various artistic disciplines and sectors. Their productions are highly sought after globally; they masterfully blend original live music with striking visual elements to create world-class performances that tackle universal human challenges while poignantly addressing life’s inherent fragility.

Director Guillaume Pigé shares his insights about this unique project: “Moments is different. It is just us,” he states thoughtfully before posing essential questions to both himself and his audience: “What are we doing here? What’s the point? Why do we do what we do? Does anyone really know why they do what they do? And perhaps most importantly—do they feel like it’s enough?” These reflective musings serve as a powerful invitation for all involved—artists and spectators alike—to engage deeply with these fundamental inquiries.

The development of *Moments* has been made possible through generous funding from Arts Council England, alongside co-commissioning by London International Mime Festival. Additionally, crucial support has been provided by The Point Eastleigh, Shoreditch Town Hall, The Lowry Salford, and University of York—all contributing organisations dedicated to fostering innovative arts initiatives within communities.
