The full cast and production team has been revealed for the Belgrade Theatre’s upcoming Cinderella panto, running from 22 November 2023 to 13 January 2024.
Audiences will join Cinderella as she tries to win over the Prince with the help of Buttons and a sprinkle of Fairy Godmother magic. Unfortunately her wicked Ugly Sisters will do everything they can to ruin her chances of finding true love before the clock strikes midnight.
Written and directed by Iain Lauchlan, this year’s panto will feature spectacular sets, lavish costumes and classic sing-along songs. Plus, this year’s show is set to be even more fun with two dastardly dames in the shape of the Ugly Sisters! Leading the cast is Iain Lauchlan as the Dame Flatula, alongside Andy Hockley as Ugly Sister Aroma, Craig Hollingsworth as Buttons, Letitia Hector as the Prince, Emma Mulkern as Fairy Godmother/Wicked Stepmother and Loren Sunni as Dandini.
The cast also includes a group of new graduates making their professional debuts, including Holly Topping as Cinderella and Megan Cook, Cameron Gabriel and Lydia Bell in the ensemble. The Band will feature Hayley Gibbs as MD, Spencer Hedges on drums/percussion and Chris Jones on bass guitar.
Joining Iain in the creative team are Vicki Stevenson (Assistant Director and Choreographer), Jenny Phillips (Choreographer), Ian Westbrook (Set Designer), James McIver (Costume Designer), Matt Clutterham (Lighting Designer), Chris Murray (Sound Designer) and Adrian Sweeney (Production Manager).
