Most Theatres in the UK have their own official websites and there are some official platforms for buying such tickets.

Such members they have are Cheap Theatre Tickets. Com , Encore Tickets and TKTS.
As a regular theatre goer, I usually book directly from the productions official website or the theatre directly.

When booking a theatre ticket and inputting your card details, ensure there is a padlock at https:// in the address bar to ensure it’s secure.
Be wary of buying tickets from people in the street or via facebook marketplace.
Try to ensure its an official agent to sell the tickets, otherwise you may not end up with a ticket and will lose money
