Well darlings, hold onto your pearls (or fling them to the floor if you’re feeling frisky) — SMUT with Entendre Entendre has landed at the Edinburgh Fringe and it’s about as subtle as a glitter cannon in a library.
Straight from a sold-out, extended run at the Hollywood Fringe, this is part confessional, part cabaret, and very much part undressed. LA’s Bryn Woznicki has cracked open her little black book, and let’s just say… it’s not so little. Under the direction of multi-awarded mischief-maker Rachel Resnik, she slips into the sparkly skin of Entendre Entendre — a glitter-drenched seductress with more stories than your nosiest neighbour.
Expect storytelling, saucy songs, and the occasional bit of fabric hitting the floor (accidentally, of course). But here’s the twist — beneath all the rhinestones and raunch are moments of vulnerability and truth. It’s as much about the quiet ache of intimacy as it is about the cheeky thrill of it all.
Bryn, known across LA’s drag, burlesque, and comedy scenes, is bringing her most personal work yet to Fringe audiences. Rachel Resnik, the creative force behind A Drag Is Born and $$$, steers this glittery ship straight into the hearts (and imaginations) of anyone brave enough to watch.
