By Grace Hatchell, changing my diary..
I was just minding my own business, mind you, sorting through t’satchel, when this little update fluttered in…
Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo has confirmed a London venue change, moving from the Peacock Theatre to Sadler’s Wells Theatre due to essential building works. Here’s what it means for ticket holders and performance dates.
And if you were planning a trip to see Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo in London, you might want to take note — because yes, things have moved.
Originally set for the Peacock Theatre, the company will now be performing over at Sadler’s Wells Theatre in Angel. Not too far down the road, thankfully, but enough to have a few of you double-checking your tickets.
The new dates remain the same in spirit, just with a slight reshuffle of surroundings:
- Tuesday 5 May (evening)
- Wednesday 6 May (matinee and evening)
And the programme? No changes there — you’ll still get Swan Lake, The Dying Swan, Paquita, Metal Garden (making its UK premiere), and a little surprise Pas de Deux or solo thrown in for good measure.
As for tickets, no need to panic — all customers have already been contacted and issued with credit vouchers to rebook for Sadler’s Wells.
So if you were heading to the Peacock… just aim a little north to Angel instead.
Same show, new stage — and if you ask me, Sadler’s Wells isn’t a bad place to land at all.
Right then, I’ll pop that back in t’satchel before anything else decides to move theatres on me.
